Creative Finish Long Arm Quilting Services

Backing - make sure that your backing is 4" larger than your quilt top on all sides. Press 1/2" backing seams open and remove all salvages.

Quilt Top - square up, press and clip all loose threads. Attach borders properly to ensure there are no wavy edges. (See Borders for more information.) If the border is pieced, stitch 1/4" from the edge around the perimeter of your quilt top (stay stitch).  Mark the top of the quilt with a safety pin.
